Fashion Magazine Spread

REBELS WITH A CAUSE

The purpose of this project was to make expressive type interact with a photograph. I chose to make my story about LGBTQ identities and expressing them through fashion. I wanted to go for a classic and sophisticated feel which is why I used Essonnes and Franklin Gothic for the type and a classic cherry red for the accents.

DELIVERABLES:

During the completion of this project, I acted as both the creative director and designer. I photographed, styled, and chose my own images and made all creative decisions independently.

  • Capture clean, styled photos that will be edited in Photoshop

  • Organize typography and image

  • Brainstorm a topic that is impactful and research articles for the main body copy

  • Produce a magazine spread that is striking, professional, and well-organized
